The End, Hopefully, of Race Based Gerrymandering

The SCOTUS 6-3 decision in Louisiana v. Callais found Louisiana’s Congressional map to have been race based, and therefore unconstitutional under the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment. Like ending Jim Crow (the government segregating people by race for political power), SCOTUS has set precedent to end race based gerrymandering.
